Podia is built by an interdisciplinary team at the Information Environments Analysis department of the GATE Institute, Sofia. Media and political science experts work side by side with AI/ML researchers and data scientists, fusing analytical rigour from the social sciences with state-of-the-art multimodal models — so that every result is both scientifically sound and contextually meaningful. This cross-disciplinary approach means Podia doesn't just process media at scale; it interprets it with the same care a trained analyst would bring, applied consistently across thousands of items at once.
